East Riding Federation of Yorkshire YFC is one of the county federations that makes up the National federation of young farmers (NFYFC) – one of the largest rural youth organisations in the UK. You don’t have to be a farmer to be a young farmer, although it is dedicated to young people who have an appreciation for agriculture and enjoy rural life.

YFC is led by young people, for young people and provides anyone aged 10-28 with a brilliant opportunity to learn new skills, work with their local communities, meet lifelong friends and even travel abroad!

Currently in East Riding YFC, we have over 400 members within our 14 active clubs. Each club is run by its members, and so meetings are organised to suit its member’s interests. Clubs generally meet on a weekly basis, and the meetings will vary between being a guest speaker, visits, activities, or competitions.

Getting involved with Young Farmers is a great way to socialise and develop your skills in a fun and safe environment where you will be surrounded by like-minded people who all support each other to ensure that you are not only successful as a young farmers club but as individuals alike.

If you like the sound of this, why not think about joining East Riding YFC?
